AlphaMind Lab Young Adult Foundations:

A Practical Introduction to Self-Regulation, Self-Inquiry, and Intentional Mental Conditioning and Perspective Intelligence Designed for Young Adult as they enter the adult life.

Strong emotions and unexpected life events can trigger stress and push us off center. The ability to regulate yourself and stay calm, focused, and grounded is an essential life skill.

❋ Self-Regulation

Learning to pause, reflect, and trust your own inner intelligence through Socratic inquiry and open-ended questioning for greater insight and self-discovery.

❋ Self-Inquiry

Learn how to shape habits, beliefs, and behaviors through self-hypnosis and self-instruction, becoming a more intentional author of your life

❋ Mental Conditioning

The ability to see multiple viewpoints on life's situations and events, developing greater emotional intelligence, relational awareness, communication skills, empathy, and more effective decision-making

❋ Perspective Intelligence

Workshop Format:

The workshop is designed to be practical, experiential, and immediately applicable. Each of the four skills is introduced through a brief 5-minute overview followed by 15–20 minutes of guided practice led by Elena Mosaner. Participants work individually, in pairs, and as a group to explore the concepts and apply them in real time.

the workshop emphasizes direct experience, reflection, and skill development.

What You Will Practice. In details:

❋ Self-Regulation

Participants learn a four-step regulation technique designed to help them move from emotional activation into greater calm and self-regulation. To practice the method, they will reflect on a recent experience involving stress, uncertainty, frustration, or strong emotions and apply the four steps in real time.

Step 1: noticing where the emotion is felt in the body

Step 2: observing the thoughts connected to the emotion

Step3: using structured rhythmic breathing to calm the nervous system

Step 4: shifting attention outward to reconnect with the present environment.

❋ Self-Inquiry

Participants learn how to create open-ended self-inquiry questions beginning with words such as what, how, why, when, and where.

They will choose one meaningful question, close their eyes, enter a brief guided relaxation, silently ask the question internally, and allow an answer or insight to emerge. Afterward, they write down what came up and reflect on the discovered insight.

This practice helps students develop clearer thinking, self-trust, and foster self-relaince.

❋ Mental Conditioning

Participants learn a simple self-hypnosis and self-instruction process for reshaping habits, beliefs, and internal narratives.

They begin by identifying a desired outcome and then explore what may be limiting them from achieving it through a series of guided questions developed by Elena Mosaner.

Once limiting thoughts, assumptions, or beliefs have been identified, participants learn how to reframe them into five constructive self-instruction statements aligned with their desired outcome.

These statements are then practiced through a brief guided self-hypnosis exercise designed to support behavioral change, confidence, and mindset development.

❋ Perspective Intelligence

Participants are guided to choose a role model, mentor, or person they admire. Through a brief visualization exercise, they are invited to temporarily step into that person’s perspective and imagine how they might think, speak, respond, or approach a challenge.

After the visualization, students work in pairs and interview each other using five structured questions provided by Elena.

This exercise in new persecutive taking allows them to practice embodying another perspective, expanding their own viewpoint, and developing greater empathy, communication, and relational intelligence.
